zip so far today, plan to do at least streching after work.

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

Yeah Jackie...stretching is so important.  I USED to do that first thing in the morning while in bed and then right out of bed instead of my normal "OMG gotta go thing" I think I will start to do my stretching again!!

I am terrible with stretching, I don't do it because I am so tight it is hard and I am so tight because I don't do it and I don't do it  .....

Today I will walk 12,000 steps (9,000...I don't think I'll hit 12 today but I'll let you know)
Today I walked down 9 flights of stairs
Today I walked up 9 flight of stairs
Today I walked down 9 flight of stairs

My stride for 12,000 steps = a little over 5 miles.  So far today I'm at 8,000

wow, that is excellent!  how much of that is "taking a walk" or other diliberate exercise and how much is just you living your day, do you know?

Let me just start with this.  I just bought this thing called a FitBit (basically expensive pedometer).  Since buying it I FORCE myself to walk X amount of steps a day.  So with that said it's a culmination of my day which "usually" includes 1 mile walk with the dog 2x a day and 1 mile walk at lunch.  This fitbit REALLY makes me want to walk the steps I set.

Last night I came home around 11:45 and was DETERMINED to hit 12,000 before midnight (as the fitbit automatically resets at midnight) so normally I would have gone home and went to be but instead I went walking  with the dog.
