Brilliant point.  I think I lived for 38 without eating much protein.  Of course that's how I became MO in the first place, but I did not die from it. :)  I will probably survive this little disaster of a day too.  You guys are the very best.  I often wonder if you all know how much your support has meant to me.  I love that I post something like this and you all have my back.  What a great group.

well i do the protein hot choc in such cases (make my own from costco powder doctored up) so i don't have to order those expensive ones.

but absent that the best protein is:

2 scrambled eggs
or
glass of skim milk
or
greek yogurt
or
blob of peanut butter.

and don't worry if you have a bad protein day on occasion. it happens. usually means you are stuffed with carbs instead but i know you are not. If you are full you are full. The end.

wait til you see my post about Easter Dinner I just had.

Diane

Oh Diane, what did you do?  I hope you really had a good and yummy dinner.  You can use it.  Doesn't it feel amazing to know that you can actually use a few pounds?  I love that feeling.  As far as tonight goes, you are a little late to this party.  I already had a bit of marinated tofu and a bit of chicken.  I am still low on protein, but it's just going to have to do for today.  You are right, one day is not really going to make a huge difference.  I am really looking forward to seeing you on Saturday.
