30 Day No Weigh Challenge - Day 3

Mission Statement:
I pledge to not weigh for 30 Days, to do everything in my power to lose my bounce back weight, to increase my exercise daily, and to have a positive outlook.  I pledge to take my mind and body to the next level and keep it there!!  I offer my support to YOU and request your support to ME!!  Let's do it!!

Random Thoughts:
-  Day 2 was much harder than day 1
-  I had a good day inspite of that
-  I had a few extra healthy snacks, but will not beat myself up
-  I had a headache and felt tired a few times
-  I pushed through it and would just go do something else, instead of lying down
-  I continue to add things and work my way through my white board list
-  I will tighten up on the snacks again today
-  I am enjoying my floor exercises, but all my bones are a pain in the butt, I am sure I will toughen up, or have to get a thicker matt :)
-  I feel my muscles breaking down, and starting to hurt, it makes me proud
-  I look forward to the first 3 days being over, I always find them the hardest
-  I feel fantastic and love what we are doing, I REALLY want to get this weight off and keep it off...  I feel in control!
-  Have a fabulous day everyone!

Marie:  my first thought is that black/white  either/or thinking is not our friend. if you want to do this, try again tomorrow.

if you don't (for whatever reason) maybe pick something else and do it with us? something small and do-able - whatever you think would be useful.

maybe even just showing up every day and think about not weighing.  how would that feel and why?

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

I agree Marie it doesn't have to be ALL or nothing.  If you think the pressure of 30 days is to MUCH.  How about starting off with every other day or something like that.

No Worries Marie,

Pick something else to do for 30 Days and report in here if you like...

Do what works for you when and if you are ready.

Hugs,

Cindy

did my therapy ball exercises this morning DONE.

my all time least favorite exercise was always situps & crunches: anything to work on abs.  doing stuff on my ball feels like PLAY!

in other news, I had a big ole eating binge last night. what the hell.  OK - I know I am stressed with what's going on at work because last night I had all kinds of nightmares and I woke up with a stiff neck. UGH.

I'll be thinking about this today and will come home with a plan. I think it will involve posting about it in it's own thread so as not to fill up this one. I know this is harder than anything I have done so far but I will deal with this.

Maybe posting about the situation will help as well to get it OUT.  We often want to suffer in silence or better yet HELLO stuff down the emotion so maybe getting it out and receiving support will help =)

Hi Jackie,

Glad you are having a ball with your ball!!  Too cool...

Don't worry about that crazy binge, it is not your first and it won't be your last.

Try to figure out why it happened so you can do better next time...

Try to eat less or choose better foods during your binge next time...

Try not to let it affect you for long, so that you can get right back on track again...

But don't worry about it!  Keep going!  Move forward!

Hugs,

Cindy

Yesterday was a pretty good day.  I wanted so badly to weigh this morning to see if I have been rewarded but did not.  I am going back to protein shakes for breakfast every day starting tomorrow.  I just do not have time in the mornings for a proper breakfast.  I hate having to rush.  We had storms go through last night again.  Up watching the progress.  Today at work is busy with storm support.  I will find out later this morning if I have to travel out of town for storm support.  That is always difficult and stressful.

Have a great day and remember it is just one day.  (Trying to remember that myself)

One day at a time ONE moment in time.

As for breakfast.  Mine right now has been this Carb Master Yogurt.  I've also boiled eggs before.  Of course the protein shakes.  Just remember breakfast doesn't have to be X it can be whatever you like.
