this is a fantastic example of what works:  figure out what YOU need as an individual, get some support and DO it!      thank you!

I will not be weighing because for a year and more I've been around goal, varying between my lowest weight about 130 and 138 but usually below 135 and this doesn't work for me. I am in maintenance and what I want to maintain is better health for life. for this I need more exercise, organized in a way that I can keep doing it forever.

in other words, a change in lifestyle. I lost weight without exercising and I guess I could stay at goal just by watching what I eat but I want to be HEALTHY.  I have my exercise worked out: Aerobics 4 times a week, resistive exercise 2 of the other 3 and stretching EVERY day. especially right after getting home from work, aka "the danger hour" LOL.

weight:  whatever
Area of Maximum Pooch:  34 inches!  (same as my bustline!)
goal:  implement exercise program and post here about it every day!

today:  before 6 am (smug!) I was on my exercise ball, doing some ab exercise. DONE!
later: I'll be eating healthy - of course! - and thinking about my Pooch when confronted by donuts, etc.
after work: stretch on my ball

and we're off!

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

 size 8, life is great

You guys are so brave with your pics and measurements.  I will do my measurements tonight and post them tomorrow.  Pics I am not brave enough yet.

My mission is to not weigh until May 18th (a struggle for me); to exercise each day; walk at least 8,000 steps per day, hopefully 10,000; eat healthy (include veggies and fruit and not just all protein); log my meals on fitday each day and get back to 128 lbs..

Check in.......Done
Weight..........132 lbs.  (guess my last hoorah)
Eat 3 healthy meals, 2/3 healthy snacks
Water........In progress
Exercise....??
Vits/Supl......Done

Already had 32 oz water, 2 cups coffee....rest in progress.

This is going to be an emotional struggle for me not to weight each morning.  I am going to have to move the scale so I don't just do it automatically.  I can already feel the tension of not knowing if I gained or lost for the day.  I really need to add fruits and veggies to my diet.  I have been lacking in them since my surgery.  There has to be a healthy balance.  I have a pair of size 2 jeans that I would like to fit back into and be able to sit and breath at the same time.

I will support each of you every day!!!!

Hi Dee!

Great post!  You can prety much bet we are all feeling and going to feel the stress of not weighing each day...  What I am trusting is that if I really behave, I should be able to trust the scale is moving in the right direction.  AND when the scale is not moving, I won't know anyway, and sometimes I think that is a good thing, those are the times my inches will change...

I am excited to be tracking it with pics and measurements instead, should be cool.

How can you be a measlie 132 lbs and still be afraid of pics??  How is that possible?  I think we deserve to 'see' you and your pics honey!  Why would you deprive your friends of your beautiful skinny body!?  PLEASE!

Have a good one!

Cindy
