OT The Great Dog Chippie Wins Today

News flash. Chip my beautiful border terrier won his class and winners dog today for a 3 point major win toward his championship. He now has 9 points - needs 15. This is a big deal because you have to get two major wins (meaning you defeat a certain number of dogs) and they are hard to come by. So we are super happy today.

I refer to im as "the great dog chippie" because it was a dog character in a Pat Conroy novel "Beach Music" that I read recently.

Anyway we are happy campers.  Got  professsional photo taken and i insisted on being in it with the handler and the judge.

Some people might not support my WLS decision. 
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

ya know Chip DID get a chicken dinner for winning. a leftover chicken tender i had cooked for myself but couldn't eat. He has been on a strict diet for the last few weeks to get him down to show weight so he loved it!  Diane
