yep, you totally understood.  the thought of TEA and SWEETS would be heaven about that time, if not for the carb coma right afterwards and the fact that caffeine that late keeps me awake that night. suppose it could be OK if I could take a nap but...hey, wait, I'm not doing that. well, maybe on vacation in England!

and LOL at Elaine!  sweets in an office is another whole post, when I worked in an office we used to joke they gave us donuts and cake and candy so often they were hoping we would grow too huge to be able to escape from our cubicles. not funny, really, considering how many of us were obese.

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

You know this post got me thinking.  Yes we're conditioned kind of by past behaviors to reach for the bad stuff, but what if this is really our body's way of crying for nutrition?  I read a post where a lady drank a ready to drink protein drink on the way home from work every day and it helped tremendously.  Then, what if you did make a big bowl of what Elina was talking about for supper?  Maybe...especially with our tiny tummies and the small amounts we eat, our bodies really are crying out for some good stuff?  I dunno..,just something to think about ?

Hi, if you can't go get a massage somewhere, why not buy one of those home foot soak gagets that heats and i think bubbles the water and get sort of a mini foot massage. you could have  cup of a soothing herb tea and maybe practice deep breathing for the 10 min or so that you do this and it might wind you down for the day. just a thought. Also, while this may not be what you are thinking, you could need some food genuinely at that time and an atkins endulge bar has 10 g protein, almost no carbs and about 200 calories. a little high for weight loss phase but fine for maintenance. i like the peanut caramel. as good as any candy bar and might replace that craving for noodles. or i find a hot cup of skim milk, sometimes as a protein coco, very comforting.

or i think you can also get a pad thing that you put on a chair and it vibrates and massages your back while you sit in an easy chair and maybe heats too. that might be comforting.

let us know what you figure out. diane

Oh that chair masager sounds nice.

How about a cup of a really good flavor of herbal tea and lighting a really pretty smelling candle.
