Thanks Novascotia dawn for reminding me of this board!!

I haven't been tracking my calories lately, and I have regained a couple lbs over the winter.  Time to get active and back on track and back where I want to sit.

Today I tracked my calories and was kind of shocked at how high they seemed compared to when I tracked while losing.  But I'm really not sure where I should be.  Here's my list:

1036 cals
25g fat
94g net carbs (about 40g are sugar alcohols, which my iPhone app doesn't take out of the net carbs calculation - so really about 54g carbs)
61g protein

I know my protein needs to be increased a bit.  But is 1000 cals too much??

I'm currently figuring out the same thing and trying to stay in the 1200 range. GL.

No, 1000 calories is not too much.  I am a bit surprised that you gained on so few calories.  I eat between 1200-1800 calories a day and I am maintaining without exercise at 103-105 lbs.   I would increase my protein and decrease my carbs if I were you.  Although, I just reread your post, and the sugar alcohols shouldn't be a problem.  But I would still try to reduce overall carbs and see what happens.  You might be sensitive to them.  Otherwise, I think the only thing you can do is increase the exercise to get the weight moving down again.  Stay on this board and share.

Well, I probably ate more than 1200 cals for the last few months.  I got into the habit of drinking about 300-400 calories a day on average.

I've cut that out and have been keeping below 1200 this week, and the scale is dropping.  I need it down another 5 or so lbs, then I'm going to have to work on the maintenance thing.

I am exercising - not like a crazy person, but daily.

Your pretty far out so I don't think 1000 is too much at all.  I do exercise and eat at least 1200 to 1800 or more a day.  I'm trying not to lose anymore...have gotten a bit thin.  How are you healing from plastics.  I'm finally a little over 6 months and the difference in the past 2 months is amazing...feel really back to normal now.

Glad you found this board...awesome people and topics over here!

Most of the time I forget I had plastics.  My TT is  fine and comfortable.  I have some keloid scaring with my arm lift...that itches and pulls still at times.  I am going back to my PS next week to get it looked at.  I think he's planning a small revision.

I felt like I was too thin after plastics when I hit the 140's.  I didn't like seeing my ribs and spine in my back.  But the low 160's is too high and I feel kinda "rounded"...don't like that.  I think I've found my comfortable weight - I just need to figure out how to stay there!!

I'm thinking about arms now but so scared of the scar...

I'm glad you're feeling good and I hear ya about the maintenance thing...it's not easy.  You're probably larger framed and can hold more weight, which is good.  I'm petite framed even though I'm fairly tall and I have to stay lighter...sucks for sure.

One side is better than the other.  And the armpit area looks GREAT - I wish the entire scar looked like that.  My PS thinks he can cut the keloid part out and get a great result - if he can get it to look like the armpit I'll be more than happy.

I did see a pic of my arms last night when I was fat - my arms look WAY better with scars than they did then, or when they were deflated!!  And my clothes fit.  So I'm happy!

I technically have a "medium" frame (according to wrist measurements).  I am a bit more "curvy" around the hips/waist.  And I like it like that...

May want to track your food and activity for a few weeks to get a good picture.

hi, i maintain on about 1200 calories but i make sure to get 70 g protein in always. 1000 doesn't sound too high. i would up the protein a bit. my surgeon recommends doing that to speed loss with no calorie change. gl.  diane.   p.s  my carbs are 40 to 60 but i eat no bread, potatoes , pasta or rice. all carbs come from fruit or veggies or low carb flat bread.
