I'm Proud of Myself......

My son's mentor is leaving to accept a job at a hospital in Houston.  I wanted to do something for him and he said he misses baked goods (YIKES)...there's a popular cookie recipe from the Governor's mansion here in Austin so I'm making Cowboy Cookies.

These darn cookies have everything in them you can think of that would make a delicious cookie and they are huge, using 1/4 cup of dough for one cookie.  They are baking right now as we speak and the smelll is divine.

Usually at this point I'd be full of raw cookie dough and would have eaten two or three baked cookies.

I'm proud of myself cause I haven't had one single taste.  Luckily they will be packed up and out of the house in a couple of hours.

Lord, give me strength.

You have more willpower than I do.... yummyyyyy backed goooooooodddddss.... I don't bake here in Belize...  nothing like a fresh homemade cookie....

He will LOVE them!  You are such a sweetheart, and I am so proud of you for resisting, I hope the scale reflects it :)
