trying to add produce

I do try to eat some produce every day, but I know it's not nearly enough.  I feel like it's a catch 22.  But I do what I can.  Sometimes it's veggies/salad and sometimes it's fruit and sometimes I get a little of both in 1 day...woohoo.

I feel like I need more of both Veggies and Fruits in my diet as well.

I have always hated cooked vegetables, so I eat mine raw.  Rigth now each day for lunch I eat a cabbage salad, loaded with meat and cheese... but that is my only vegetable all day.

I also have raisins in my oats in the morning.  But that is my only fruit all day...

I would love to add a nice juicy apple each day and plan to starting Monday, it will replace my daily M&M Peanuts on my walk...  Cindy rolls her eyes....

We don't get very nice veggies or fruit here on the island, it all has to come from the mainland, and even there it is not as nice as in Mexico or Gautemala... but that is an excuse as well, because we get plenty that is 'good enough', and I really need to try harder to get more in...

Thanks for bringing this up.  I will add it to my things to buy and get ready for Monday.

I kind of have been thinking, oh if I can't get fresh organic produce what's the use but I guess nonorganic is better than nothing.  I also want to add an apple a day. it's do-able, just won't have room for as many NOODLES! 

I'm getting excited about Monday, Cindy!!
