Hi,
I am having my sleeve done Monday the 18th. I was shown this website by my surgeons office. It has been a lifeline. I have gained so much knowledge and information from all of you. I went to my preadmission class on Thursday and the leader asked if I had done any research. I told her about using this site. When class started and she began asking questions I could answer them all. She commented on how much I knew. It is because of everyone on this site. You have made my journey thus far informative and enjoyable. I certainly intend to become a lifelong user here. I am scared a little but not nearly what I was prior to reading this site. I have found nothing but friendliness and encouragement here. I will extoll your virtues to all those I meet during this process. I wish everyone continued success and joy. Congrats on your decision and up coming surgery! My one year is coming up and I remember very clearly where I was one year ago. Nerves are completely normal and you will be just fine. I'm glad this site is as useful to you as it has been to me. I truely still learn something new everyday. There is a great amount of knowledge here.

I have felt the same way since I started this journey almost 2 years ago. I learned so much from OH. Now that we have this maintenance forum, I can continue getting support and strength and offering some too.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.
