Everyone knows I have been struggling to lose the weight I gained over
the holidays. I have always been that way, where in spite of lowering carbs,
upping protein, changing exercise, etc, I went on long plateaus and then
would drop 5 in a week without doing anything different.

I can't believe it took 4 months though! I am almost back to my lowest weight
and I love my sleeve. It feels so good to be rid of the carb monster and be back to really not having much desire to eat!

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Thank you everyone! I hope I learned my lesson and remember how hard it was to take this back off. I don't want to  get out of control again !

Bravo!  I'm so happy they've come off!  You worked really hard to get them off.  You learned a lesson but you also provided an important lesson for the rest of us to not assume that what may have been true earlier out, may not be true any longer.  I will certainly remember your experience when faced with "holiday food" and hopefully will not need to recreate the learning wheel.
