Spinning...is that cycling/stationary bike? I wonder how that would be on my knees...could be worth a try if i can borrow my stepfather's unit.

If you can, try a class at your local gym.  Most gyms will give you a free trial membership.  It's so much more fun in the class.  the instructor gets the energy going, the music adds to the fun, and if your knees are a problem, just stay in the saddle when the others stand.  The great thing about spinning is that you can do the class at your own pace- you can adjust the tension up or down , sit or stand, whatever you can handle.

Amazing weight loss - good for you !!

I would say add more water (2 extra cup s a day) and exercise at least 3 times a week.

1100-1200 should be just fine if you exercise

Good

I think next week I will do 1200 calories and 30mins of daily walking...focus on keeping carbs low, water and protein up. Stressing too much over this makes me binge for a bad day...

Funny. When I stress about the weight I also binge...that's why I keep general guide lines and weigh only once a week and then adjust if needed.

I also have a routine for exercise that I never miss.

Have a great week !

Personally, this far out, I'd be careful going under 1200 calories unless you are regularly seeing a doctor. When we were early out and doing 800 calories or less, we were also actively under a doctor's' care.

I agree about the BodyBugg though I got the BodyMedia FIT version just because I hate The Biggest Loser. LOL It was eye-opening to see what I was really burning.

I would also up the exercise. If you have physical limitations there are still exercises you can do. You just have to find the right ones. I would also be sure to do strength training at least twice a week as well. It really helps with weight loss because it helps the metabolism.

Do you know how that technology works? It seems really strange to me that anything can somehow tell how slow our metabolism is.

It works fairly well. It would work better if they also had a HR monitor in there. I think they don't because it would be too expensive. At least that's my theory.

It works by monitoring the speed and direction of your movement along with how much heat your body is giving off and how damp your skin is. The  heat thing is a good indicator because burning up energy usually releases heat. The dampness of the skin can give an idea of how much you are sweating so it can help guess at your intensity. That's how they can tell if you are sitting in a car doing 30 mph vs. doing it on your bike.

Speaking of the bike, it does tend to undercount on exercises like biking that are low impact. But I've found it accurate for everything else or close enough.
