My Wedding Ring

My little wedding band has been 2 sizes too big for a while now.  I've been wearing it on my pointer finger.  It's just a simple 2mm gold band, but it's been with me for 36 years now.  At the grocery store yesterday, I noticed it was gone.  My hubby was OK with that, but it was a little sad.  I'd worked at the hospital all morning, so I had the rubber gloves coming on and off, figured it went out in one on them.  Anyway, got home from the store and the little guy was laying on my bedroom floor.  Glad it's back.  I have a cheapie on order from HSN is a size 5, guess it's time. 

Glad you found it...even if you can't wear it, it sounds like there is sentimental value.

I can relate.  I haven't been able to wear my rings for quite a long time now.  I kept saying I'd get them re-sized when i reached my goal, but still they sit there.  I really need to take them in and see what they can do....I need them taken down to a 5 as well.

I had my ring come off in the middle of the night once and found it on the floor by my bed.  I've had my rings resized once, and they are big again.  I'm going to wait awhile until I get them sized again.  Glad you found it.

I am glad you found it, they are like old friends, you might not have mu*****ommon anymore, but they have sentimental value.   I had to re-size my rings from a size 7 to a 4.5.  The lady could not believe they were my rings.

Hubby does not understand why I don't wear the big fancy one.  I don't think it could be resized.  Lots of little diamonds, etc.  If I lose one, it best be the little band!  Just got an email from HSN, my cheapie "Diamonique" has been mailed.  Yeah!

 YAY! Glad you found your ring Marie!! Although, I don't have a wedding ring/band (one day! lol) I have a ring my mom gave me a when I was in high school that has an amethyst stone in it. It's both of my parents birthstone and when I got it she told me it was to represent the fact that they ALWAYS know what I'm doing... I was maybe a naughty kid .... now it's more I know they're always there for me no matter what. Anyways.. lately I've been having to take it off when I shower or do dishes because it slips right off... Pain in my butt!! I'm trying hold out getting it resized.. 1. because I'm cheap 2. because I want to be able to wear it on my middle finger when I get to goal so there's room for my "goal" ring I picked out!!

I had mine resized a couple months ago too...after I 'lost' it. I was leaving the house to do something and my ring kept sliding off, so I decided to take it off and put it in a safe place so I wouldn't lose it...well, I couldn't find it for months! Hubs finally found it in a little bag at the bottom of my backpack.

had mine resized down 1 and 3/4 sizes after a similar incident. and hubby lost his totally while taking junk to recycle so no hope of recovery. its in the dump somewhere. had to get a new one.

so take care of your rings. its the price we pay for skinny. so glad you found yours.  Diane
