Does ANYONE here eat and drink together besides me?

Yes, I have heard all the reasons not to.. I am just  wondering if anyone else does it..

Thanks!

I don't think you are alone- I have read that from a lot of people, but never experienced foamies personally.  I wonder if your sleeve is just smaller than mine.. hmmm. I always thought that drinking and eating together supposedly made you eat more, but I am not sure about that anymore either, lol.. I am apparently not sure of much!

I only have had the foamies ONCE and that was on an empty stomach, after chewing up some vitamin Cs and lying down.  NAsty!  I fixed it by drinking bakingsodawater. *shrug*

I think Mac says she does it when she wants to eat more?  MAybe she means she drinks sooner than otherwise?

I wonder too if it matters *what* you ate, like if a person ate carby stuff that would slosh down easier if that would just go down, as opposed to thick and mucky protein stuff *that floats back up in mah throat!  blurg!!*

Speaking of vitamins... my multi makes me nauseous.. every. single. day.... is that normal or should I be looking for a different one? I have tried maybe 4 different kinds and it is all the same with me.. I didn't take vitamins at ALL pre-op (~hangs head in shame~), so I can't compare to that...

I cannot take mine alone, I have to take it with a dense protein meal, not with shakes, not with coffee but with a dense protein.

Do you have chewable kind or not chewable?

Know what really hurts my belly?  Zinc.  Cant do it, I get the belly pain some awwwful.

I have tried chewables but didn't really like any- I just swallow the darn things now.  I don't take Zinc.. oddly enough my iron doesn;t upset my tummy at all, and I have heard lots of people who have issues with that... I will try taking them at lunch instead of first thing in the am.. Thanks for the tip!

Iron never bothered me either.  I did not like the chewables either, but like melting mama said once "Look, they are not snacks"

hhahahahah. Oh. Yea.  That's right.  :}

I only took zinc because it was on my list of things to take - I took it right off that list :}

I hope changing up times/foods helps!   Blurg to feeling nauseous!

Thanks for answering.. I wonder why I can drink with meals completely normally.. no discomfort or anything.. and I don't *think* it makes me eat more or less... hmmm. I have ALWAYS been curious about this one since DSers seem to all drink with meals with no issues and they have sleeved tummies too...
