Feelin like a "fraud'...... confession time!!

So....as many of you know.....a couple of weeks ago I hit a "milestone" of  losing 300lbs!   That was great and all.......but i got on the scale this morning and I have gained over 4lbs!  I am NOT the 300lbs loser at the moment!  I usually weigh every day but have not lately!  In the past couple of weeks I have been doing a lot of "off plan" eating....pizza.....chips.....and Easter candy!  This is not the normal up-and-down bounce of my normal day/week! I think I have given myself "permission" to go "off track"  I know what to do....but am struggling with getting things back under control.  I have to "snap" out of this!  I am putting this out there so I will commit to doing better!  Thanks for being a great support system to me!  I appreciate you all very much!  Back to my protein drink and water!

I'm sorry you are going through this.. with weight loss there are a lot of ups and downs.. literally and figuratively. Let me know if there is any way I can support you.

I'd be happy to show you some great recipes for low carb pizza, chips and candy that might help you feel as if you don't have to be so rigid and can have a "treat" but not totally get you hooked on the sugar again, KWIM?

I consider it like "methadone" foods.. a substitute to get the carb monkey off your back without totally shooting up. :) Let me know. Hugs..

Boo and I am sorry for that reality!!

For me, permission to go off track without structure is just poking the plugged in, turned on toaster with a fork while is stand in a puddle with an aluminum foil outfit on.  Bad news for me. 

I will put you in the thigh lock if you need!  :}  Because I care!  *big throbbing heart emoticon*

yes giving myself "permission" sometimes backfires!  Need to get back to "stucture" thanks!

OK Jimbo, Sublimate is the sweet one, I am the swift kick in the pants one today.  I think it is great that you caught this at four pounds and that you are posting about it.  I really think that is a huge part of getting this right.  Having said this, what is the plan?  I know you know what do do, so tell me what you are committing too right now?  Inquiring minds want to know.  I am totally here for you if you need me.  Have you considered the idea of posting your food journal for a few days?  That would be my nuclear option, that and ratting myself out to Dr. C.  :)

I need a swift kick in the pants.....I like the "rough" stuff!  I have a plan....already implementing it.  Got rid of the Easter candy...chip....and will not go for pizza W/ friends this week!  I can tell you what I ate yesterday.....B: HB eggs /hummus...S:  pita chips W/hummus....L: pizza (leftover)  S: protein coffee D: pizza Wsalad..cashews....S: more cashews ,,1 pb Easter egg....2 handfuls of malted robin eggs!

OK, in my book, yesterday sucked. Now tell me what you are eating today and what you are going to eat tomorrow and make me believe you are serious, or else. How like this side of me?

You know I am kidding right. You can't lose 300 lbs. without having your stuff together.

 Amen to that part :)  You can't lose  300 pounds without having your stuff together.. very well said :) we all fall down, but its the getting back up that counts..

I also wonder if you are getting weary after meeting that huge milestone of the struggle with changing eating habits and such? I know sometimes I have to generate some new motivation. How about a new goal to set for yourself?
