More Talk of Secrets

Honestly, for me, no.  But that goes back to the heart of it right- for some people it is helpful to know others secrets.  For some it may be harmful, as they may be followers and actually be led astray, and for me it is just an interesting diversion... back to the differences again.  I certainly appreciate the posts though.  I am curious by nature and solid in going my own way.. I would NEVER want to dissuade anyone from posting the good, the bad, the ugly, or the "secrets"... just saying I don't think it is either universal or mysterious...

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!
"People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within."   - Ramona L. Anderson

I think this post was about the toolbox of maintainence rather than the toolbox of weight loss ... and I think that sometimes maintainence can be about finding other things that excite you besides the scaling moving down

This is my point.  there are NO secret methods tips etc.  We ALL are doing the same thing to lose weight!  There are different "variations" of the same  theme........Water...Vites....prot....reduce cals/carbs....exercise/move more!  that's it!  I don't think ANYONE  here has been successful at eating 5000 cal a day.....and sitting on their ass!  If there is they would be a billionaire if they sold that "secret"  Everyone's "tool box" has the same dozen or so "tools"  It is how w wield them that makes us different!  And can greatly impact out success....and maintenance!  Using these "tools" to build a "house" is the easy part......having the house still standing after decades is the real test!

I assume you are saying that due to the "C" word.  (Sorry Jimbo) ... but please feel free to share.  Not all of us count carbs religiously.
Hey i gots nothin'  against CARBS!  I was just illustrating a point.  I do not put value judgments or "traits" on food.  I  feel food....is just food.  Not good...or bad!  I like to  play....it is mostly (TIC) with my comments!  Some people really do think "carb" is a 4 letter word!  Just a bit silly to me.
BTW.....just got finished eating a white chocolate Reese's PB egg! It has "C's" and "F's" in it!  Gonna have to wash my mouth out W/ soap now!

I know but some people really do think I'm like a carb hater....I'm only doin low carb now....as I'm still in the losin' phase!  I joke around too much sometimes....gets me in trouble!  People cannot see your expression....or hear your voice in print!  I already got "slapped" for callin' it the "c" word...oops there I go again! Just used the opportunity to clear it up....again!  No apology needed

Sure you do ... you are using having an exercise hobby that you like both as a way to stay active and as another reason (besides health and appearance)  to want to maintain your weight (riding is funnier/easier at lower weight)
