today I am going to make a list of all the reasons I want to cut back on coffee and I'm going to post it over my Keurig.

today I will keep it to 2 Kcups and 1 half-calf. I'll help myself out by putting off the second one until 9 am and the last one until noon. if I go to church I will remind myself the coffee there tastes horrible and isn't worth it.

I will remember I am a grown up and can let my frontal cortex make these decisions and not be over-ridden by my Inner Child or Limbic System or whoever is the Brat who thinks she should get all the coffee she wants and is willing to make deals with the devil to get it.

it I get tired I will take a nap. if I get depressed I will remember that it is temporary.

I will delay gratification because I have decided to. 

right now I am on cup number one and it tastes wonderful, so hot & so good. I love coffee.

I go through this too! But, my question to you is, why do you think you have to cut back?

lots of reasons - long term, the more coffee I drink the worse I feel. less energy, worse mood, more sleep trouble.  problem is, short term it feels so GOOD!

I find if I go up to 3 K cups a day - let alone more - I get hungry faster, I make poorer food choices and I have a much higher tendency to Binge Eat. 

also I have heartburn and I take omeprazole twice a day. I hope I can cut down to one, if I get down to my coffee goal.

when people tell me they can drink coffee all day long and it doesn't  bother them if I am down at Coffee Goal I nod and say, I'm happy for you. if I am not at Coffee Goal I want to give them a swift and painful kick!

Hi Darlin'   i was gone this weekend so no wighing in ? don't know what the scale will say tomorrow:o(  i have been using dumbells and today on my home i stopped and got myself a kettlebell,   so hopefully i'm building muscle.   Everyone says how much better i look and i feel great so i'm not as concerned about the numbers on the scale as i once was.  That being said hopefully it won't be too bad.   When i go away from home i don't make the best food choices,   oh well,  its a journey.   Love ya  Jeani
