Let's Face It...It's all about the Jeans....
Yep, what is it about nice fitting jeans that is such a joy? Maybe takes us back to our youth when some of us looked great in a skinny pair of jeans. I was somewhat fat then and always battling finding jeans that fit and were comfortable as I had an extra maybe 25 lbs. Gradually gave up jeans all together as even large sized ones were proportioned like I was 6'2" and if the butt fit, the waist was too tight or too high or whatever and trying them on was a miserable experience. So I gave in to the fat ladies friend of knit pants and wore those for years from Land's End and such.
So boy was it a thrill and a half to get some real jeans last fall for the first time in maybe 10 years. Love 'em. And don't think I wont be wearing the sparkly-a$$ jeans at Los Gatos even though I might have to put them in the dryer as they are a bit loose.
Jeans rule. No question about it.

I am the same way... Everything else gets in line behind my favorite clothes- as long as they still fit I am good to go. I own something like 75 sundresses, and I am in TROUBLE if they start getting tight, lmao.. Not to mention my favorite pair of jeans- size two artist cut from American Eagle.. Soooooo comfy! Who needs a scale, lol... I do weigh daily though too..
I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!
"People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within." - Ramona L. Anderson
This so funny because today I put on my smallest jeans, the ones that I can't always fit into especially in the off season and ... THEY FIT!

Just today I went to try to figure out what size jeans I should get. The designer jeans have these numbers I am totally not familiar with. Turns out I am a 24. A 24 is pretty much one of the smallest sizes these jeans come in, yet I couldn't get over the fact that they are 24. That sounds so big to me, that is even bigger than the jeans I used to buy that were the regular sizes. Anyway, the price of these jeans was astronomical and I walked over to the Nordstroms children's department and became the proud owner of a size 14 children's Tractor jeans. They look awesome on me, and I don't even have to have them altered. I bought them and changed into them. As I walked around the mall, a lady stopped me and wanted to know where I got my jeans! I loved telling her it was the children's department. :)
