Let's Face It...It's all about the Jeans....

Yah got the scale....yah got the BMI chart....yah got the dunk test....yah got a doctor.......

Yah got this all covered....

But, It really comes down to the Jeans !!!!!

I'm in 31" waist Levis from 54's

The satisfaction of taking my 31's out of the dryer and looking at how tiny they are and putting them on and they fit !!!!!

When I put them on and there a little tight.......whoooooo.......Red Flag Red Flag .....time to cut back !!!!

Pre-op....I was deathly afraid of washing my Jeans....took a few days to get them stretched out enough to breath! Air dried them cause I was to afraid of the dryer!!!!

My Levi's are my real gauge.... If I can stay in my 31's I'm all good !!!!!

And all the other numbers fall right into place!

Maybe an un scientific approach.....but the Jeans can be a useful measuring instrument....they are not very forgiving!

I used to start small fires from the friction goin on between my thighs..... blew out many off pants that way.

I've had em where the jeans looked perfect.... like new with all the color still there....but the crotch was blown out.

Now when I touch my knees together.....I got space between my thighs !!!!

Never had that berfore in like ever.

Wow, space between your thighs... what a concept!  I'm pretty sure I'll never see that day!  I have a definite hour glass complete with some pretty solid thighs... I'm convinced my body type was what ACDC had in mind with "knocking me out with those american thighs"!  Hubby is definitely not complaining though, so I guess it is ok.  At 28 I'm getting too old for mini skirts anyway so I guess he and I are the only ones who have to see them anyway.

it's the truth!

and curse Landsend for creating a "comfort waste" with 2 inches of expansion because if my gut gets 2 inches bigger I don't want that to come as a surprise!

jeans for sure.

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

Oh what truth you speak, Frisco!  I really need to buy some new jeans, cuz mine are getting pretty loose.  But summer looms so not sure I want to buy any right now.  But, I did buy some denim capris for summer so I'll use them as my gauge until fall..

The dryer thing must be a fat person's mantra for prevention of shrinkage.  I still find it hard to throw things in the dryer.  When I have, I find myself surprised that I can still wear them.  More surprisingly, when I purposely throw something in the dryer, HOPING that they shrink!  Now that's an NSV!

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Well I'm not a jeans girl but I do have a pair or two of those 200 dollar designer ones and they fit like a glove.  Since I don't wear them that often, I try them on at least once every 2 weeks to make sure they still fit the same.  They are definitely a useful measuring instrument.  Even better than the scale for us weight lifters cause it's possible for the scale to go up but the pants to get looser!

I buy jeans 1 pair at a time.....in a couple of months they are too loose!  Kinda sucks....but cool at the same time!  I used to dry mine on LOW....then cycle the dryer 3X to dry them!  Now I run it on HIGH....and over-dry them to shrink them!
