Food Poisoning

OMG, I've been so sick today. It all started in the middle of the night when I woke up with violent diarrhea for 3 hours...thought I was gonna pass out. I'm feeling a bit better this evening, but my whole body aches. I've had nothing but fluids today and a few saltines and a couple bites of chicken noodle soup. It's frightening having this with a sleeve cause I can't drink very fast. Thanks God the worst is past and I didn't have to go to the hospital...but it was touch and go for a bit.

This sounds terrible. Every sleevers nightmare. Be sure to report your illness to health dept if you think it came from a restaurant.

Only once have I had really serious food poisoning and I remember a doc said to drink lots of water but not eat for 24 hours to get rid of the bugs.

Usually when one gets food poisening means Bacteria. Please have your doctor check you out if you have Hpylori or something to be safe. We dont want the new tummy sleeved to be messed with.

dont sound the best, I have not vomitted once since surgery so am not really looking forward to ever getting anything like food poisoning..

you poor thing! feel better soon. I have a stinking cold and don't feel well today but nothing like that. yuck!
