Good morning, my peeps! :D

Sooooo, I finally remembered this group was here this morning when I got to thinking that maybe I just needed to stay away from OH for awhile 'cause I was getting SOOOOO frustrated seeing the same topics coming up over and over again (stalls, carbs, post-op diet, etc) -- I'm not quite to my original goal yet but I've been maintaining in the same 3-4 lb. range for 6 months (BOO!) and I need to find a way to get my head back in the groove and get the rest of this weight off.  So here I am, thinking I can probably relate more to the gang here than the regular VSG board.

I have great hopes that when the weather FINALLY gets nice enough to be warm and comfortable and actually spend time outside, my brain will "click" again and I can make this happen.  I know WHAT to do and HOW to do it, it's just getting my head back where it needs to be, and that's not in maintenance mode.

Anyway, it's good to be here and I'm looking forward to going through the existing posts (and WOW, you all have been busy!!  ).

Welcome aboard.  I can truly relate to your situation.  I'd love to drop another 10 lbs, but my head seems to be in maintenance mode.  I want to step it up a but, lose that extra 10 for "insurance" reasons!  We can do it.

We apparently all have the same "insurance plan."  HA!  I'm at 178 this morning and want to be between 175-165.  Ideally, 165 would make me feel better for those frequent trips when I come back and the scale is squealing at me.  Squealing at around 170ish makes me feel a whole lot more comfortable than anything with a 18- at the beginning.

We CAN do it!

Thanks for the welcomes!  I want to point out too, that my ticker is wrong.  I DID see 166 very briefly about a month ago, but only for a day or two, and I'm back to hovering around 171-172 which is where I've been since about September.  But I'm not changing it back LOL!

Hey beebs!

Sometimes the repetitiveness of the main VSG board can be crazymaking but its an EXCELLENT source of *seeing* people give excuses about why they cant, and then RECOGNIZING when you, yourself are spouting those same things!!

Its easy to slip into the waller!  Doonnntt doooo iittt!!

Muwah sweets!!  Your new avi is LOVERLY LOVERLY!

Welcome.  I too almost gave up on the whole OH thing until Diane started this group.  Posting here helps me keep my head in the game, I hope it does the same for you.

Welcome! Personally feel that staying here, connected, and honest is what keeps me on track. Sure I could come here and lie my ass off, but that would get me nowhere.. Not to mention I would be busted because many oh people have become irl friends for me, lmao.. Stick around! I am waiting for the spring to truly start as well.. Tennis, swimming- these are the activities I actually enjoy, and they are kinda hard with hail and snow flying!

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!
