Gallbladder issues.
Had mine removed about 18 months ago. Same type of situation. Got messed up pains and when I went in, they said it had to come out. It was not a difficult surgery and I really didn't have any issues at all after it was removed, except I was very careful what I ate the first few weeks. I didn't get chronic diaherra or anything like many of the google searches off the medical sights told me. The scars are all but gone so is the horrible pain that kept reoccuring before the surgery.

Thank you for all your support!!!!
I just got back from the Bariatric clinic. My surgeon did an ultra-sound and ran labs (I forgot to ask for lab results). My Gallbladder looks like a bag of marbles. He said that usually they count them to see how many they are, there's usually 3-4 of them, but mine have so many that he said he charted it as "the stones are so numerous that counting is futile" I'm serious, it really did look like a little bag of marbles.
Then of course, he said "it's gotta come out" He said I won't miss it, and that it already isn't working anyway.
I'm scheduled for surgery on April 8th (Happy birthday). I've already did pre-admissions and everything.
I'm sure hoping for no attacks between now and then. He said if I have any attacks that results in the pain not going away, that I should go to E.R. and then it will be an emergency surgery.
I appreciate all the experience you guys have. I feel better about the surgery. Compared to VSG, this should be "surgery lite" Ha Ha
My surgeon also told me he would get a picture of my sleeve for me while in there....then he said "only if it's pretty, if it's ugly, I won't take a picture" Funny doc!!
