Dialing It Down

OK folks I am all about moving along and letting the horse and its toe tag be dead and buried.
I am happy that folks feel less intimdated to talk about how they really eat and live, that was my purpose when all this started.
I own that I got a little over the top, I tend to do that.
I did not intend to attack any one person, though I own totally "attacking" what I saw as a mindset and beliefs. I did post about a certain weight and what it would take for me to maintain that weight, not a personal attack on another person though I understand how that was viewed that way. Again I openly apologize for any pain that caused however unintentional.
I will continue to post about my experience and will work on dialing it down though I know myself well enough that from time to time I may get "on my soapbox" again.
Whatever you do is it truthful, necessary and kind?

We ALL (ok maybe that's to inclusive) get to the point where it's MY way really is the best way or at least this is MY way and what works for ME but sometimes in written form it translates differently then when spoken....but hey it's all good

Thanks Shell you have continued to be a seasoned voice of reason over the years I have been on this board. You Rock
Jimbo continues to be a voice of humor and twisted sickness which is why I think he rocks too

Truthfully, I did not notice you saying anything out of line. Maybe I missed that post? If it was the post about carbs, I thought you polite about your opinion.

What I want to know is, do you change your font above where it says size? I wish there was some way to pick a default size and color.

Yes I do pick it from the drop down. I used to use x-small but when someone said it was too small I started using small. It looks huge to me but I think how large font looks depends on what "program" someone is using on their computer. I have seen it on the boards before where something looks different to some than to others. I am techo challanged so don't ask me how it works.

I am glad that this all came out,  you had surgery 3 yrs ago (almost) and are at goal and your input is valuable.   I think its great that we can all share our journey.   This isn't a one size fits all.  Lots of people are successful and don't do low/no carbs and are living their life.   This is what i want for me.  I think someone who is as far out as you has just as much right (or more)  as someone only  a few months out and nowhere near goal to speak about how they did it and how they continue to do it. I would certainly listen to that person first.   I respond better to someone discussing their journey than i do someone preaching.  I'm glad that you take the time to share with us and hope you continue to do so.  :o) Jeani

Thanks I appreciate not the support. I know I can get over the top about things I am passionate about.  I continue to be challanged in that area in my life.
I just want folks that are not doing Atkins type eating and not doing super low calories years after surgery to feel like they can have a voice. My delivery was not my best work.

it's all good!  every now & then something flips my trigger and I lose it - just hasn't happened on in this group.  carry on.

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

I really don't think you need to dial it down. I have always enjoyed your posts and hearing about how you eat and what works for you, especially being so much further out than I am.
