Dose of Humor

Jimbo is right that we need numerous doses of humor both on this forum and in life in general. Geez, it all gets so intense sometimes.

So here is something that struck me as funny and I kept laughing about it all last night. I rent an art studio and share it with two other fabulously funny artists, both of whom have very serious health problems. We talk about anything and have a great time. So I often mention funny things that are discussded here on the forum which I refer to as my "fat friends" forum even though most on this group are not fat anymore.

I don't remember what we were talking about but one of my studio mates says, " well, I guess thats something you could talk about on your Blubber Blog". Ha, to her, OH is the "Blubber Blog"!! As a fat person I might have taken offense but it struck me as so funny that I can't, especially knowing this person as I do. This friend has serious cancer and I try to make her laugh to the point of wetting her pants as often as possible but she nearly did it to me yesterday!

So laugh it up today, all you Blubber Bloggers!

OK.......on a similar note when I tell my family/friends "I'm going to an FAA meeting" they know what I mean. This might insult some people.......but it is what I call the support group meetings! Fat...Asses...Anonymous! Don't judge me ....you know it's funny. "Blubber blog" I like that....might steal that one! How about "Fatty Forums".....or "Adiposity Advice?"

Now you got me going Jimbo. How about "Chubby Chat" or "Tubby Talk" . Actually, we are really now all members of "Undereaters Annonymous" or the "Charge of the Large". Or we could just call our advice feature "Dear Flabby".

You might go to FAA meetings. My studio mates go out for "safety meetings". That means they go use a certain herb. I skip that - don't want munchies.

Hmmm, how about "Munching Matters" or "Munching Meddlers" cuz thats what we are!

Yep, pretty much, except this herb seems to distort the sense of time so the hour varies.

And I repeat, I will NOT be bringing anything herbal to Los Gatos, whether in baked goods or otherwise.
