Getting back on track AND back on OH!

Hi all! I am 3 months away from being 2 years post op. I am 10 pounds above my lowest weight and need to get back on track to lose that plus my last 30 pounds to get to goal. The past 6 months my Dad was dying of cancer (fought for 4 years) and passed on Feb 13th so needless to say I was stressed and not helping myself.

So it's onward and upward. I also haven't been on OH for a very long time because of too much drama between people on my local board. Just had to get away from it and that lack of support has likely had much to do with losing my focus as well. I'll be sticking to just the sleeve forum! So, just wanted to hear from some of the experienced sleevesters, anyone who has recommitted themselves, etc.

What is everyone's daily meals looking like? I still can't eat much. Just about a cup. Today I had 2 boiled eggs for breakfast. Packed some cheese for snack, salad w/ grilled chicken strips for lunch, and some cottage cheese for an afternoon snack. Not sure about dinner tonight. Hubby and our girls will get leftover spaghetti. I might have some roast pork.

Good to be back and I look forward to hearing from you.

Welcome back. Sorry to hear about your father.  Nothing like stress to bring everything back home.  I know.

I think we are friendly, but honest, bunch around here.  Hope you stick around.

I use myfitnesspal.com to track my food daily.  It's just part of what I do like brushing my teeth, and I know it keeps me focused on what will be a lifelong committment.

I still have about 13 pounds to get where my original goal was.  I try to stay below 800 calories daily, 80+ protein, and less than 40 carbs.  If I do all those things, then I have no trouble losing.

Good luck!

Theresa

hi, welcome back, sorry you have been having a rough time of things... i think to get back on track is just push protein first and get your fluids in..

then you can slowly add back in your vegie and other carbs if you have room.

feel free to take part in the support challenge posts and the sleevin &achevin post if you need accountability
