Everyone has already names mine.

I do eat almonds and walnuts every day, Greek yogurt most days, but I think the best is to start my day with a yummy protein shake.  My best super food is blueberries. I hear over and over again that
they are super foods and I grow them in my yard.   For a fruit, they are low on the gylcemic index
 and pretty darn yummy

Most of my favourites (Canadian spelling, lol) are already taken, but one big go to for me is
smoked salmon.

some of the things i have found i enjoy frequently include:

low fat single serving microwave popcorn packets

hot peppers (this is not a 'new' favorite for me)

shirataki noodles, which go great with a million sauces. my fridge if full of condiments and my counter covered with spices.

eggbeaters

premier brand protein shakes (great for breakfast or on the go)

za'atar. i always loved za'atar, a middle east spice mix, but now i sometimes just get a spoon and eat the stuff for a snack! it sooths my stomach, as does ginger tea. speaking of that...

herbal teas

frozen blueberries, or fresh apples

corn tortillas. you can keep them in the freezer, just pop one or two out and microwave them one minute per tortilla on a paper towel and you have a crunchy fat free 55 calorie delight.

my new favorite kitchen appliance is my slow cooker. i dated a Filipino guy for a while and from that experience i  learned to make some darn great Filipino stews in there. they are fresh and healthy.  whatever gets 'crock pot' treatment comes out so tender!

i loved food before surgery, and i still love it now. the difference is i am not hungry all the time anymore! the quality of my life is greatly improved.

Ok, these are more in fhe form of recipes rather than items;

1. asparagus roll ups.  Steam some asparagus spears. place a sliver of swiss or cheddar cheese next to a spear. roll it up in a thin slice of deli turkey. nuke to melt the cheese. two or three make a good meal.

2.  Mission brand low carb tortillas. Only this brand works well. Take one and sprinkle with parmessan cheese. Nuke on low power for 2.5 to 4 minutes turning it or using turntable. Watch for when it darkens but is not yet burnt. Once you learn your microwave you will know the time. Remove and place on a paper towel. Wait a couple of minutes and it will cool and become very crisp. Then use with hummus or pesto or refried beans. 7 carbs and some protein and not too many calories.

3. Flat Out  low carb flat bread is good cut in half, spread with almond butter and then rolled up. looks like a cigar. Two make a good lunch and not too many carbs or calories and some protein. Flat Out low carb also makes some decent chips.

4. Homemade pesto on chicken. Keep the olive oil low and the basil high. Can add some spinach leaves too. Make pesto with walnuts instead of pine nuts.

5. Reduced fat Tom Ga Kai  - the Tai coconut lime soup. This can be made with nonfat coconut milk, chicken and broth, lime and the seasonings - lemon grass, keffir lime leaves, galangal root, mushrooms, hot chili paste, and anything else you want.

6. Frozen blueberries from Costco. They are sweet and good and not so variable as the fresh ones. Chicken with a sauce of some squished blueberries and a little balsamic vinegar is really good.

7. Grapes.  These were my saving grace during weight loss phase. a handful were so sweet and good and low cal. Became like candy to me. Still do them with cheese for lunch.

8. Cinnamon almonds. PM me for the recipe. Kept me from eating Christmas cookies.
