A question of inches
Ok, my husband thinks my legs are too skinny. So I measured and my calves are 13 inches and my upper thighs 18 inches. (and butt is 36 inches which is irrelevant but I am proud of it).
I didn't measure everything when I started as it was too depressing. Any women out there at goal measure their legs? Just wondering but these numbers seem pretty ok to me.

That doesnt sound horribly emaciated to me, my upper thighs are 21 and my calves are 15. I have, and probably always will have some meaty thighs, but there are some muscles hanging out in there too in addition to the fat I have kept so I dont have to be as wrinkly as I could be, so ? I am not sure what he wants from you? Were you more of an appley shaped gal when you were heavier?
Edited because having legs that work, any shape legs, and especially thinner any shape legs is a good good thing!

well I would have said I was always a pear shaped woman but then when i got really fat i was just fat all over. but never had bird legs or the "water tower" figure as my friend calls some ladies. You know what I mean. Hadn't been able to wear any kind of boots for years. Still have none but bet I could fit them.
I think there is some saggy thigh skin right above my knees and that makes the proportions look odd. oh well. I am happy with my legs and thing they are cool. just gotta get a little tone in them.
The upper thigh measurement was kind of hard to do as its like measuring jello.

well its ok i get told i got chicken legs lol.... but its not like we can point to a body part and say ok if i eat this amount of calories i can send the weight to here...
he sounds like he is a little worried on your size, maybe you can tell him well give it time because weight redistributes and maybe some will go back to my legs lol...

Wow.......thought this was about somethin' COMPLETELY different! I don't measure......when I tried to measure my thigh.....it was a bit like tryin' to tie up a big floppity roast W/ butcher's twine!.......not pretty. That is an intresting question about legs.. so as I search though my huge work tote (I'm at work) and try to find something anything to measure with I have come up with nothing to measure and now I really want to know! LOL
I even tried to measure with floss and then try to figure out how much floss I had measured out using the 12 inch floor tiles.. Too much math for my poor blonde head. I'll have to wait until I get home.
