  Daily Exercise Check In - Friday, Mar18/11 

This post was initially set up by Diane, primarily to encourage you 'slugs' to do some form of exercise, anything, even if it was just 10 minutes a day.  It was set up for you non-exercisers, although exercisers were encouraged to participate, motivate and cheer on the non-exercisers!!  Diane, the Queen Slug is watching you and promises to check in here daily and set a good example of how it's done!

I'm swinging my leg under the desk while my students work on forms... does that count?

Just kidding I'm walking tonight with my trusty walking sticks 2 miles!

Good for you enjoy your walk... sure glad you checked in, I was the ONLY one who checked into the exercise thread yesterday... and man it was lonley here!

Dr. Daniel Amen was on my PBS station last night for a pledge drive special, something like Be Thinner Happier & Have a Better Memory.  He studies our BRAINS.  I liked what he said for exercise:

walk like you are late for 45 minutes a day, 4 times a week.  that sounded do-able to me!

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

I LIKE that...

I stroll all around the island, so proud of my 4 miles, but I don't even raise my heart beat...

I need to step it up!

Friday is one of my exercise days off.  But I have a boot camp class tomorrow morning!

I did my thing at Curves this morning. Yesterday I was a slug and didn't even walk my dogs. Sorry you were alone yesterday, Cindy

The walking sticks really help and give you a better workout incorporating upper body..... I love them!!!!!
