Still hanging at 181.  But, I'm okay with that.  My goal now is to actually lose over the weekend.  Not always an easy task, but I have already planned my days, and that's a good thing!

104.8.  Sigh.  Well, this seems to be the new normal.  My average weight has shifted closer to the 105 mark from the 103 mark of a few months ego.  This is the re-gain that Dr. C warned me about.  It is under control, and I don't mind too much as long as it stays under the 108 mark.  My husband thinks I will even look better at that weight.  I don't know, it leaves a very small cushion.

I have a chunk of confusion.

Did you not just say yesterday that your husband changed the scale or recalibrated it or something and that it was going to take a couple of days to find your normal on it?  Because the truth is, if you weight the same, while you find some magic in 103.8 - if it was really 104.8 all the time then - is not shift is not the weight, but only in your mind.

Or is the pound just a vanity thing?  Because its definitely not a health thing, yea?

You are right that my husband changed the scale yesterday but I am looking at average weight this month vs. average weight in the last few months.  This scale seems to agree more or less with the scale we had before.  I am noticing for example, that today's weight is the same as the weight last month on the same day of my cycle (1st day), but it is higher than the weight on the first day of my cycle for the past few months before that by about one pound.  On average, I am about one pound higher than before last month.  I hope this makes sense.  The bottom line being that there are more and more days when the scale is closer to 105 than to 103.  It is not a big deal, it is ounces really more than pounds and I am not hugely stressed about it.  But on the other hand, I know that this is not muscle weight, so it is a bit of regain.  I can get the pound off and I have a few times now, put it seems to want to come back.  As long as it doesn't bring friends, I can live with it.  Your underlying point (as I read your post) is not entirely unnoticed.  I agree that I am more than a bit preoccupied with small weight fluctuations.  It seems to give me a small sense of control (might be false control) over the situation.  There have been so many times in my weight loss history that I did not "notice" a thirty pound gain, that I am very cautious to not stick my head in the sand this time.  Overall, I am maintaining rather easily without really "dieting" at all.  I eat what I feel is healthy and I want most of the time with minor deviations for treats here and there.  I still mostly eat protein first at every meal.

The bigger picture is an excellent confusion clearer upper!

I know that the beauty of catching ounce gain over time is there are fewer treats that you need to rein in.

Because a gurl likes a treat every once in a while, fosho.
