OK folks......movin' right along..........
Good change of subject and something we have all been thinking about. I am on the proverbial fence but right now think I will just leave things as they are. I certainly have some loose skin and the worst of it is inner thighs and "double chins" on my "cheeks". Panni area is actually pretty good but thats because I had that and outer thighs lipsuctioned about 20 years ago in one of my many efforts to deal with unwanted fat. So that fat never comes back but if you gain weight as I did eventually, it just comes back in other places. Hence the inner thighs. Waist and arms aren't so good either. What I really need is a lower body lift. But I now have wrinkles in my face that i didn't have before because I no longer have hamster cheeks and I think if I were to do anything it would be to fix up my face a little. I am 59 so other age issues are showing up on my face.
So while I would like some body work, I really am reluctant to spend the $ as the stock market is going down and retirement savings getting hosed again and I worry about the future and bla bla bla. But really I don't want to go through another sugery. The vsg was easier than I ever imagined and way easier than the lipo I had 20 years ago. That was much more painful and a longer recovery even though i was much younger. The results were quite good and I am glad I did it and I am sure techniques are improved, but I still would have some big incisions for any body work and just don't feel like putting up with it. Too much other fun stuff to do. AT this point I have lived my whole life with a less than ideal body and am so happy to have the weight off that I can just live with this. Besides, in street clothes I look pretty decent.

Carbs.... OK I said it. Always wanted a horse. Preferred alive, but oh well. LOL
I'm torn. I want my bat wings gone. They are horrid. It's hard to find tops that have elbow length sleeves. Truly, my arms look SO bad, I won't wear anything with a short sleeve.
My stomach doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Not sure what or if I'll have that done. Legs look like a melting candle or shar-pei. I'll deal with them.
Little wrinkling on my neck. ICK. But I knew this would be an issue and I'll deal with it too.
Bottom line is, like Diane; I'm not sure I want to spend the $$. Retirement will come soon and I don't want to be "plastics poor". I self paid for my VSG, so I might be pushing it to expect to spend money on plastics too.
Oh dear, what should I do? Suppose I could sell that dead horse for enough to cover the cost?

I heard there was a dead horse on the board - protein!
As for plastics, I am a bit ambivalent. I am not anxious to take on another major surgery and feel that I look pretty good in clothes. (Love my Spanx thogh!) I had a minor rash last week under my panni - but it cleared up quickly and doesn't seem to be returning - that was the first time I had a rash and it was itchy and horrible. If it becomes an ongoing problem I'll shell out for a tummy tuck.
Have already had a breast reduction, and although the girls are deflating a bit, am not interested at all in implants.
The thighs and ass look terrible, but a lower body lift or thigh work sounds too horrible for words, so no.
Fortunately this isn't a very warm climate, so 9-10 months of the year it is easy to be pretty covered up.
