VSG Maintenance Group
Ok, so my one year post with pics...
Hey Mandy, you look amazing and you have done so well with your sleeve. You had surgery a little before me and i always enjoyed your posts and your pictures. You should be very proud of yourself. I have just recently starting doing weights and i feel better already. I won't say good luck with your maintenance because i know you will do great. Thanks for sharing, Congratulations on your surgiversary, you've done so well :o) Jeani
Hi Mandy,
You have done such a wonderful job with your sleeve and workouts. It has been quite inspirational. You are a beautiful woman. I know you have had your head issues, but it seems like it may be working itself out. Strength training has definitely been your friend. I have been watching your progression for the past several months, and it has been amazing.
I started working with a trainer in December, so I have been at it, for about 3 months. I feel so much stronger and I have built some muscle, despite the low calories. Even though, I have some shoulder and arm definition, my arms are still wrinkly and I won't be able to wear short sleeve shirts. I've been putting in 2 hours/week with the trainer and taking a pilates class, along with some cardio. I'm so amazed by how much lifting weights has helped me to feel better. I started out, not being able to do a push-up or sit-up, and now I can do at least 3 sets of ten pushups, alternating with ab work. I think I will add in another day of strength training. I'm older, so I know that my skin won't bounce back, but I can make it better. Plus, having more muscle increases one metabolism and helps to stave off osteoporosis. Can't lose.

Mandy, You are absolutely stunning!!!
I've stated this before, I've always paid close attention to your progress (hope I don't sound like a stalker) as we had our surgeries very close to each other. I've always been impressed towards your dedication to this "Process". Your dedication helped me stay on track as I always compared my results too yours. Know that we are not supposed to do this...but there it is :-)
I think you should post. I never get tired of looking at your pictures (BTW..my fav is the pin stripe).
You definitely help motivate and inspire. Keep up the good work!!!

Hi Mandy, congratulations on the beautiful sculpted body that you've created. You worked hard to get where you are both with physical as well as the emotional issues that come with weight loss. Congratulations on your dedication to yourself. You've done great!!

Mandy,
You just look incredible! Congradulations on your one year anniversary. I absolutely believe you should xpost this to both the VSG and main boards. I know when I started this journey you were one of my inspirations. However, I certainly understand that everyone's results will be different. It just rocks to see your achievement. Please share it!!!
