Ok, so my one year post with pics...

Yes I suppose. I didn't even exercise one single time until I was 6 months out. I just wish people realized they don't need to kill themselves in the gym to look good (unless they just really love exercise). :p

Always love your diplomatic posts as well, btw!

Weird ... I oculd have sworn that I posted earlier, but it's not here.

Looking really good there.  I wish my tummy had bounced back like that.  You have done an awesome job.  Take pride in your accomplishment!

(And, I love the black dress too - hope you were able to buy it & go out somewhere special.)

Revision from Sleeve to DS (with re-Sleeve) on 10/10/17. Slow and steady ...

Thank you! I am obsessed with trying on little black dresses. First time in my whole life I have been able to fit in them!!!

Congratulations on your first year. Been a great ride, hasn't it. Your pictures are fabulous and you look wonderful. Really a sensational difference. Keep with us on the maintenance group as its the next challenge we all face. But I predict you will be every bit as successful. Great job.   Diane

Thank you Diane! I try to get on here at least once a day, but sometimes I am rushed or don't have much to contribute. It really is true about getting busier once we lose weight. Or at least it sure feels that way. The first 6 months I was consumed with VSG VSG VSG, now I have other interests, too. But I think it's SUPER important to keep in touch with this board so we remember where we came from. Eeeeeeasy to become complacent!

Thank you sooo much for creating this board and being such a positive member of our community!

You really look fabulous.  I remember reading your posts when I first got my VSG and you were always inspiring so I second (fourth? tenth?) the motion for you to post on the main board too.

I am currently a dedicated runner but have recently started lifting a bit and am already seeing a lot more def in my arms and back...maybe that's why my skin is looking a little better?  Maybe not...but anyway, as much as of course your arms and whatever else is about you and your genetics, you've also put in some good work to sculpt that bod, so take credit where it is due!

You were very active on the main board at the time I started researching surgery.  Your advice, input & success up to that point was a great inspiration for me.  Even if I am a dude.  I'm glad to hear you're happy with your body... I think that's what we all ultimately desire.  In addition to all that, you're a stone cold fox.  Way to go!

Current weight: 170 lbs.

Once I reach goal, this cow will be killed & eaten... 2 ounces at a time.

Total includes 56 lbs. lost on 2-month low carb pre-op diet.  Start date 9/13/10.

Mandy, you look stunning!  Awesome job, and awesome post!  I especially loved the "honest" pics of your stomach, makes me feel better about my own battle scars, lol.  You've been such an inspiration!  I really hope I have arms like you one day!
