Random Thoughs:
- Had another great day yesterday, I am pleased with how well this is going. It is not easy, but it is not really hard either. I look forward to getting within my prefered range, and feel somewhat impatient to get there...
- I am getting in between 900-1100 cals and I am not sure what I should be getting at this stage...but I think I am in the ball park. I would be too hungry if I went back to the 750 or so cals the surgeon recommended on my initial plan... I will do this as long as I keep losing, and then adjust when I get back to goal.
I am back within my prefered weight range!! Yeehaw!!! I my Sleeve!
Loving this and looking forward to my daily accountability posts!
Vitamins: yep, on my way
Water: bellied up to 32 ounces and big ol cup of coffee right now
Tracking...all set in myfitnesspal except for lunch...unknown
Checkin....done
Weigh in: yep, down 3.2 pounds
No sweets: I'm in the zone and prepared to battle the demons at our welcome breakfast for a new Employee in about 12 minutes. I'm armed with lean ham, laughing cow cheese
Protein Drink supplement...will half 1/2 of one for my daily snack
Exercise: two power walks and elliptical on deck
Thoughts: This week has been about getting back to a somewhat structured way of life while at home, and it's working well for both me and the mister. We have committed to our eating plan of no "formal" dinner, opting to eat our final meal at work before we head home. Making it less of an event has really helped with portion and variety control. And, we are both cheering each other on to get on that elliptical before we can retire to the bedroom. Good week thus far. We even planned to take a dear friend to dinner on Saturday for her birthday, and we booked Texas de Brazil, a Brazilian Churrascaria, to have a somewhat healthy selection of fresh salad and grilled meats instead of the chips and queso our typical Mexican dinner would include.
I like your approach, about getting the structure back, I am doing the same thing. I also like that you are planning ahead for both your food and your exercise. Great job honey!!
It is also neat that you and hubby have started to down play your main dinner meal. Doing what you guys are doing maybe the key for 'you' in getting and keeping this wegiht off. I have said any times, for people who like to snack in the evening, plan a meal for that time!! There is no one size fits all... you guys are using your noggin's, let us know how that goes ok?
Hugs,
Cindy

I will be leaving town this afternoon for my sister's. Family illness, lots of stress due to the seriousness of it all. I probably won't be back online until Monday. My goal is to stay away from all the sweets that are always present and concentrate on the protein.
Please take care of yourself during this stressful time.
Hugs,
Cindy

I'm on a roll this week! I lost my vacation weight and the grazing monster seems to be at bay! I have not grazed once since my daughter went back to college(wonder if that has anything to do with it???) I'm still off exercise but the therapist finally put me in the stationary bike with no resistance. it's a start!
Cindy, you're doing great! I lose at 800 cal, and I'm 5'3"! You are so much taller! Enjoy those extra calories your height affords you. I wish you could share some of your height with me :)
