Maybe some of you "older timers" can weigh in on that conversation,

Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

That's an interesting and a little bit scary article.  I, too really wonder what bougie size those at 5 years out have as well.  Like thinlizzy, I never lost my appetite (at all I don't think), but I have good restriction. I am hungry a little too quickly after I eat so that is a concern as well.

Thanks for sharing this, I don't get over to the VSG board often, but I don't like to miss these updates.

I think my appetite was helped somewhat, but I have always gotten hungry, too.  Thank goodness for good restriction.  My bougie size is 34.   From what I've read, larger bougie sizes were used in the early VSGs.  I hope that information is accurate and that the smaller ones will help us keep it off.  I just can't imagine going back to where I was.  But I know that I could spiral out of control with my eating if I let myself.  I do hope that I can continue to have self control.

I hear ya!  Good luck to both of us and thank goodness for our restriction!
