I feel you, i know how it feels to gain lol... but check it and make sure its not sodium in something you had i know for me i can gain 1.5 pounds over night with sodium and then it takes me about 2 weeks to get it off..

for me i can get down about 3lbs then i seem to lvl off its so annoying.. but im scared if i stay too low on calories for too long im only doing more damage to my metabolism..

I can cut down to 800 calories easy enough but am i making it harder for myself next time every time i do this?

I dont really have the answer but i wish i did lol...

I am really glad to see this thread here. I have been moaning about this since Christmas. I put on a few lbs and I am really having trouble taking it off.It felt like I was the only one!  When I was first sleeved, and fot the first year, if I ate something wrong and gained, it was gone after one day of eating right. That is just not the case anymore and it's driving me crazy.

It sure makes me much more aware of every bite these days.

I have not had to deal with re-gain yet but I wonder if the carb theory might hold water.

If I really had to narrow down what foods I have primarily stayed away from post surgery, they would include pasta, rice and ice cream. I used to eat considerable amounts of all of them.

Post sleeve, I'm not as interested. In the beginning it was because I didn't have any room. Now, I would have room, but they aren't a habit so I don't eat them (except for a bite now and then).

That said, I DO eat some crap that has carbs...including....candy. But, for now at least, havent gone over the edge with it. I hit my lowest weight ever...121.2 the other day.

Could not freaking believe it...I just want to see the teens....once.

Y'all take care!

In the freaky "Get Out of My Head" category - for 2 days I've been starting and deleting a posting about some of this exact stuff!  I am not nearly as far out as many of you, although every morning I come downstairs and force my pets to applaud me for another day at goal: "Day 28!  WHOO!".  Yesterday I caught the cat rolling her eyes but that's an issue for another post.

The carb creep, the snacking, the ease of taking weight off...this is all GOLD info for me.  I am pretty sure I'm sneaking little extras, like another glass of red or crackers with peanut butter, and I'm getting away with it...for now.  Yes, I'm exercising like crazy but that is not going to carry me forever.  Plus I have to think about how I will manage things if (forbid) I get an injury or similar and can't run or do my circuits.

I started this whole thing with the end in mind - I spent more time thinking about what I felt I could sustain for life instead of what I need to do in the moment just to lose the weight.  Now I need to start maintenance with the 'end' in mind - tracking all of my food, minimal and planned snacks, and planned very occasional 'extras'...thank you all for the wake-up.
