Elina, I don't know if you saw my post a few weeks ago, but that is the dish I was complaining is a slider food for me! It's my favorite, I eat it all the time.

Yum!

I am totally with you girlfriend.  I wish we had a market here that sold it.  I think my only choices are to buy it at a restaurant at really high prices or learn to make it myself.  Do you know what the calorie count on Poki tuna is?  I have a feeling this is going to become an expensive habit of mine.

I think the calorie count is low, it's really just tuna with a touch of sesame oil, the soy sauce/seaweed/spices don't have many calories.

I have just found a way to make this into a non slider food.  I added unpeeled cucumbers to it,  This reduced the amount I could eat significantly.  It still tasted amazing.

I live in Hawaii and eat it all the time.

Some of my favorite tuna pokes are::

Korean style -hot with a bite

Tuna/mayo poke-

Sesame poke-

Onion Poke

My kids like poke with avocado

You can also make poke out of shell fish.  My favorate being squid.
