What I meant to say was..

Yes!  I weigh daily too!  Helps keep denial at bay and is another tool in my arsenal against delusional backtracking!

I am a firm believer i the daily weigh-in.  No surprises about "How did that happen?"

BUT, I think we all need to be realistic and allow some bounce for water-retention (ladies especially) ... I have a bounce allotment and it keeps me honest!

Great post!

Revision from Sleeve to DS (with re-Sleeve) on 10/10/17. Slow and steady ...

I'm also a daily weigher and find that it helps me keep on track and has also helped me learn about my body's normal patterns of loss and stalls - and now that am contemplating maintaining at my current weight, will let me know what is and is not working for me.

Weighing daily keeps me mindful and accountable and is a behavior that I plan on continuing for the remainder of my life. I can handle the day to day fluctuations and take a weekly weight on a specific day of the week.

I have weighed myself daily since surgery.  I too hated and stayed away from the scales before surgery.  I even remember not going to see the doctor because I did not want to get weighed.  I mean it was just for a physical, nothing urgent, but thinking about the trauma of being weighed kept me from going in.  I remember feeling like I was some cow being weighed and judged by my weight. I hated it.  Now, the scales are my friend and I look forward to seeing the low number every morning.  If I indulged the night before, I still feel a little trepidation when I step on the scale, but I force myself to do it anyway.  I really think it is a must in order for me to keep maintaining my weight.  If I stop, I am almost sure I would start to regain.

Thanks.......finally got off my ass and uploaded one!  A bit tedious with all the resizing and stuff!  I am not sure how to load pics in a thread? Might have my nephew help me with that one.  Unfortunately my old laptop is still out of commission.......I do have a few before pics on a thumb-drive.....can use them I suppose?  I got my before pics from Dr. C's office one time.....and they were very pixelated?  Not sure how to fix that?  Maybe they can send them in a different file size?  I got them via email.  They are probably my best before shots.

Hello handsome face Jimbo!!

For putting a picture on a thread, I either upload the pictures to my OH photos, or to a free server, like photobucket.  Then right click copy the picture, come to the screen you want it in, right click paste the picture.  On Photobucket there is an option that lets you size it to message board sizes all the time.

Its good to see your face!
