Anyone notice this weird thing (warning TMI)

Ok, sitting here in my jammies playing on the internet at my favorite site I am compelled to blather about whatever is on my mind. Today I am contemplating my navel - literally. This strange thing has happened - my belly button has shrunk much smaller - like its a very small opening now. Very odd. While it had been hidden by blubber for years and still is somewhat shrouded by the loose belly skin, my formerly normal sized "innie" is about 2/3 smaller in diameter than it once was. Its like i could be spotted as an alien or something. And its tight, not wrinkly. Was at the internist the other day and asked about it and he didn't seem to think it was anything to be concerned about and i agree. But has anyone else had a shrinking belly button from this surgery? NOt sure I even have the nerve to mention it to dr. C .  Can't believe I am sending such a message out into cyberspace but oh well.  Today's entertainment from your group moderator.  Anybody else have any weird body parts they care to "expose"?  Diane

HHhaaahahaha!

You made me look. It does look smaller and it has a frown from the scar from the removal of the extra tissue from my stomach!!!..LOL..I remember the opening being a lot larger and infected by times!!!

LOL, at this moment hundreds of people around the world are measuring their belly buttons and wondering ......Some probably have to use a mirror as i did for a long time. Sorry you had infection. my big incision was about an inch above the little porthole so there really isn't any scarring from this surgery that should have caused this. its just one of life's great mysteries requiring further contemplation.  diane

I don't think mine's smaller in diameter, but it's defininetely deeper. Gotta make sure I dry it out when I'm done showering or else it gets stinky!

Mine seems bigger. It's definitely deeper.

Oh no... I hope mine doesn't shrink too! I'd have nowhere to store my loose change! I think I could fit a roll of quarters (or two) in there.

Ha you guys are funny and this whole issue is pretty funny. but its true. BB went from being the normal diameter of maybe a dime to more like a pencil width. so odd. everything else is floppy but this is tightened. so odd. if it disappears entirely, will let you know. didn't ask doc tonight. too foolish. diane
