Barbara originally started this thread for the Maintenance Board and it has really helped me to be accountable.  I feel so bad about my regain and am just not comfortable posting this on the regular VSG board.  I know it would be a good warning to the Newbies that it can happen to them and to keep a tight rein, but right now I am feeling like such a failure.  I just need to work through this for now.

Breakfast - None, had doctor's appt and lab work.

Snack - 3 oz Swiss Cheese; later Unsweetened Ice Tea; Water

Lunch - Taco Bell Salad minus the shell, chips, beans, rice but added extra meat and sour cream.  Used the TB Hot Sauce as salad dressing.

Snack - Water; 2 oz Swiss Cheese; Water

Dinner -

Snack -

Vitamins - Yes
Exercise -

                  5'1"  Age 62   Goal weight between 128 - 135

Hi, hey don't beat yourself up about some regain. Many surgeons say its common and to be expected. So you are dealing with it by becoming accountable and resuming your program. Hats off to you and be proud of yourself. Please try to avoid getting into the pattern of self loathing that we all have or have had as obese people. It only leads to aggrivation and eating. Try to focus on what you have accomplished in a positive way and build on that. I swear negative thoughts make you fat. Keep posting. Individual responsibility is the key to maintenance and we are all finding our way here since there really is no instruction guide on it except patients with continued support and follow up do better. so make this your support and check in often. vent, whine, celebrate, chat - whatever it takes to keep your head in the game. gl.  diane
