congratulations! isn't it fun?

things continue to change, though, at least they did for me. the second year seems harder than the first, just because the fast weight loss of the first was so overwhelming cool.  after that more reality set in. but it's all good!

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

I debated about whether to respond, but I feel I need to.

Since I have found so many friendly and helpful people on this board, I am going to assume that you meant this as a friendly reminder to be diligent and keep up the good work.

But, I have to admit, you really took the wind out of my sails.  I understand that I still have to work at it, but I really wanted to use yesterday (& today) to celebrate being at goal and making it one year out.

OK ... 'nough said ... We can rejoin our previously scheduled program.

Hey congrats again on this achievement. And while many of us are past the giddy stage of seeing large amounts of weight melt off each week, we should now look forward to and embrace this new phase which is simply living life to the fullest which we are now empowered to do because we are minus 100 or more dragging pounds of ballast!. So while we all have to do things to keep ourselves on track and not slip into bad habits (for me it will be continued journaling) we also need to try to do something positive each day such as an activity we couldn't do with the extra weight. Whether its wearing something tight fitting, doing a physical chore, walking past Lane Bryant with a smug feeling, or trying an intriguing high protein low carb recipe or trying a new sport (loving the xbox kinect) each day should have some positive affirmation of the weight loss rather than the negative of "oh god i wanna eat pizza but i just have to deny myself".

So celebrate reaching your goal and celebrate your new slim self everyday (not with food for gods sake) and maybe those little celebrations will help get through some of the occasional tough days which may come.  So yippee yippee yay yay. love your new slim self.    diane

you're right, I don't know what I was thinking. it was inappropriate to say this in what should have been strickly a congratulations thread and I appologize!

celebrate, indeed & buy clothes - that's the most fun.
