Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Saturday, Feb26/11

Surgery Date - June 12/09
Highest Weight - 230 lbs
Surgeon's Goal - 162.5 lbs
My Goal - 155 lbs lbs, BMI - 21
Prefered Range - 142 - 147 lbs
Yesterday's Weight - 149.4 lbs
Today's Weight -  148.6 lbs
Gain/Loss -  -.8 lbs
Random Thoughts:
-  I am finally starting to feel better
-  I am still not making wise choices when it comes to food
-  I am still not exercising or getting my water & viatamins in
-  However, I finally feel like I am getting the things done that needed to be done after I got back from Canada
-  I love my Sleeve more than ever, without it I know I would have gained back a substantial amount of my weight already
-  Hoping to get back to it soon... not stressing about it... just thinking about it
-  I was alone here yesterday, not one person weighed in....

Surgery:  December 14, 2009
High:  299
Surgery:  283
Yesterday:  179
Today:   180
Gain:  1

Goal:  165-175

Thoughts:

Didn't do anything yesterday to gain a stickin' pound.  Thanks, Mother Nature.  Just a normal day in a normal week.  But, no worries.  I'll stay the course.  We are having a big family gathering tonight, but we are having beef and chicken fajitas, so I can navigate that with ease.

Think I'm going to do protein shakes all day Monday and Tuesday to see what happens.  We leave on Wednesday for California, so I'd like to feel like I'm solidly in the 170s before we go!

I am 102.8 this morning.  The sleeve is amazing and I am incredibly grateful.  I went out dancing last night and had two drinks.  I also had a piece of my Mom's cake, but more about that later....
Yet I wake up this morning at 102.8  almost 2 full pounds less than yesterday.  I don't really get it, but I will take it.

Glad you're feeling better.

Was on vacation with the family this week...Didn't have access to a scale. So I haven't weighed my self for a week. Having withdrawls...Can't wait to see how I did.

172 LBS.
I am starting the 5 day pouch test.
I am goiong to do everything I can toget past my carb cravings.

I ate 2 packages of 3, Ho Hos last night.

I just dont understand how my stomach can take theses so easy. It does take me a long time to eat them.

I have to stop!!!

Pfft, I could eat at least that many of those things, and it *would not* take me a long time, so you are not alone.  Those things you need to just put down, there is no weaning yourself off hoho's girlie.

Girlie, riddle me this.  Do you eat whenver you get hungry or do you eat on a schedule? like every X hours?

Do you just want carby stuff all the all the time or do you mostly want snackage at night?  Is there a dangerous "time" for you, or is it just all the time now, since you are carbything's *****

For me to get past carbyness, I need to eat dense protein, every 3 hours.  I am going to be uncomfortable because I am going to have a serious case of the gimmies.  Drink things that feel good on your belly but are not calorie filled things.

Do you have an MP3 player or an ipod?  Do you like to read?  I would *really* suggest getting 10 Thin commandments, either in a book form or on its nice on audio so you can listen while you go about your day, and you can listen in your ears if you have an mp3 player or somezing like that.

The 5 day thing makes me feel bingey, so if it does that to you, know you are not alone, I do that too, but then try pushing dense protein every 3 hours girlie.  Did you make that sleeve buster salady stuff that Sublimate posted? ITs really good!  I make it with jalapeno pickles instead of the pico!  Yum!

And look you do not need to understand WHY your stomach eats those things so well, you just need to understand it DOES and then act accordingly, ya know?  You drive a car without wondering how the ignition starts a whole combustion things and makes the car go, you just know it does and you act accordingly, ya know?

Anyway, good luck girlie.

Hey Branylynn, I am never hungry. I have head hunger.

Emotional eating,I have started cooking up chicken , so I can have that for my go to food.

So I hope to make that work for me.

Thanks for all your interest.
