HEY!! guess what I got for my B-DAY?.......
Wowee!!! You must be on cloud nine with those 2 wonderful things happening at once! Firstly happy birthday, and may you have many more! You know what they say about birthdays.... the more you have the longer you live.
Secondly big congrats on your weight loss milestone! I know that the way you feel every day is so much better than the scale numbers, but those scale numbers really mess with our head don't they?
Anyways I wish I could give you a big squeeze but I'll have to give you a belated one at our meeting next month... so in the mean time here's a virtual one for you... (((( HUGS )))).

Jimbo, you are the man! Happy birthday and congratulations on meeting your first goal. I know that you will meet any goal you set for yourself. You really inspire so many people. You are living proof that many heavyweights can get to normal weight without malabsorption. Your attitude and commitment will take you all the way.
Jimbo, I got shivers reading your post. CONGRAULATIONS!!!!! You have done fabulous. I saw your before pictures at the luncheon and spoke with you at the Christmas White Elephant Party. It has been an amazing transformation and journey. I bet your family is sooo proud of you!! I have been so impressed and inspired with your success.

WAY TO TRULY ROCK IT! You are doing a FABULOUS job, and I am inspired by your progress. I was sitting here feeling a little whiney today about my last 16 pounds or so (I swear I know how skinny folks who complain about a "few" pounds have felt all these years now) and you came along and reminded me to sit up and take note of my accomplishment instead of what's on the path ahead of me.
I know that your surgeon is quite a "tell it like it is" sort of guy, so for you to exceed his expectations.....JUST WOW!
I would imagine that you have already accomplished things that were on your "not now" list at a much heavier weight. Keep up the amazing work, and don't forget to visit us here often. Your attitude is contagious!

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. To those I know on OH and IRL, thanks for helping me in this long journey of mine. I feel a big part of my success is using the support, knowledge, and camaraderie I find here and at support groups. I am inspired by many of you too.......more than you may know! I feel like I'm at camp IV on Everest! Almost at the summit, but still at camp "waiting for the weather to break!" so I can continue on to the top. I will be there soon.....but for now sub 290 is my next goal! If I'm not there in a couple of months .........Dr. C might break out the "aversion" therapy electrodes! Thanks again to all of you........pics will be coming soon!

Hey Jimbo....
I don;t know if I was stepping out of bounds.....
But about an hour ago I was with Dr, C and I told him that we were celebrating your goals here on OH
I told him this last weekend you went under 300lbs. to 298lbs.
He got a huge smile on his face and said "Alright"
He was very happy !!!!!!!!
