Good Morning Fellow Sleevers,

Ok, I am finally ready to get serious and get this Christmas Holiday weight off, AND go down to 140 lbs.

I plan to basically do Atkin's Induction for a few weeks, and then low carb it until I am done.

I plan to weigh in daily.

I am starting on Monday.  Would you like me to start a seperate daily thread or just put it in with my Daily Maintenance Weigh In thread?

Hope to have some of you join me in doing an intense focus on getting any additional weight off once and for all.

Hugs,

Cindy

Excellent as long at there are at least two of us, it is a go...  :)

Do you want a seperate thread or just tuck it in with the Daily Maintenance?

I'll let you make the call on the thread... you are the awesome devoted one, I'm more of the vicarious one.  But whichever you choose, I will try to come out of hiding to be openly accountable.

I have been in calorie denial.  I just don't want to think about it.
I can make better food choices. Period.  I am going to think about what I'm putting in my mouth and all that has already gone in my mouth.

I am seeing a pattern with myself.  I lose...get happy...eat...gain....get depressed...gain...reel it in...lose...get happy...and the cycle continues.

I wish I could just find peace with myself and accept me how I am.

When I was fat, I just was... that's who I was and that was that.
Now, having to make the effort of maintaining is new territory.  I have to care to maintain.  I've got to stop being mentally and physically lazy.

If I could stop being lazy and actually monitor my calories, I could eat those steenkin cookies and not feel so guilty.  Right?  It's just that I am eating way beyond 1000 calories and to bring it down to 700 seems like starving to me.

This will be good.  I'm looking forward to it.

Thank You!

Hi Julie,

Ok, I will start a new thread, so we don't intrude or bore the Maintainers :)

I used to run a daily thread called Sleevin' & Achievin', I will use that template here, so watch for it ok, and we will check in daily, no matter what ok?  I need you to hold me accountable.

I am seeing alot of what you wrote in myself... and enough is enough... we are going to regret it... let's do some thing about it before it gets out of hand.

I have been terrible, and I look forward to getting control again.  I am going to commit to the following:
1.  Weigh and measure myself tommorow morning.
2.  Weigh daily and check in to S&A here each day
3.  Measure when I am done
4.  Eat right, I know just what to do
5.  Drink all my water
6.  Take all my viatamins
7.  Go for my 4 mile walk or some other form of exercise daily
8.  Keep going until I weigh 140 lbs!!!!!!!

I have been lazy and uncaring for too long.  I am ready to commit to myself and to you and anyone else that wants to join us.

I want to be and feel skinny again, I miss it, and thank goodness it has not gotten any more out of hand than it has.

Let's do this, my plan is for a month, then re-evaluate at that time...

Thanks honey, hope to see you daily on S&A...

Hugs,

Cindy

And hells to the yes! Set yourself up for success, save choices for when its FUN food and SOCIAL food!

Hi Cindy,

I'm finishing my first two weeks of Atkins Low Carb today. I'm doing this to help me get to goal. It's so freeing to be rid of the flour and other carbs.

If you look in my signature, you'll see a link for the new Atkins (or whatever) Low Carb group.  We would love to have you join us over there.  Why not keep the Low Carb support all in the same place so that we can all learn from each others experiences.   Please join us!

Hi Lee,

Good to hear from you!

Thank you for the inviite, I may check it out.

Mostly I just post here with my pals, I have limited time right now and can't spend a lot of time on the forums, so coming to one place for everything is great!

Hope you low carb went well!

Cindy
