Do you drink calories at all? It helps.

I also have issues with the 5.3 oz yogurts or a whole banana if it's a medium size one. I try to get the smallest they have at the grocery and, if I end up with a few large ones, I might not fini**** all.

Yeah, I do a double scoop of protein most mornings but then I really don't care to eat much after that.  Sometimes I eat crackers or white bread to try and stimulate appetite but it usually just gets me full and bloated feeling.  The shakes definitely help to keep me from losing any more weight which is a good thing.  I don't want to lose ANY muscle mass if I can help it.  It's good to know that your capacity is small also...I don't feel so much like a freak.  Thanks for replying.

Gotta get me some broccoli.  Love the stuff!  Do you ever make the broccoli/bacon/raisin salad?  YUMMO.  But can't eat much of it.

I really don't eat many veggies because I need the protein.  But last week I decided to eat some baby carrots as my snack rather than my usual almonds.

I couldn't believe how filling they were.  And they didn't digest quickly either.  At lunch time, I couldn't eat much of anything due to the carrots still sitting there.  Think that's my new "go to" food for quick satisfaction and to further help my sleeve limit quantity.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

ok, these sound good , but are you able to do this and still get adequate protein? I am still finding it difficult tho get my protein in if i have any meal that isn't mainly protein. Where does one put these filling veggies?  diane

Hi Diane,

It is very hard (impossible for me) to do both at the same time and get adequate protein and even enough veggie for any benefit.

So I've been trying to eat Veggie only snacks as well as a little bit of veggie with protein meals.

I have to drink some of my protein to get it all in plus veggies.

For one thing, I have a hard time eating more than 2-2.5 oz of lean protein at a time. I think I could probably fit more in because I can fit in veggies on top of it but it's just too uncomfortable. So, if I have lean protein for lunch and for dinner, that's maybe 4-5 oz. of protein, which is only 30-25 grams of protein.

That's what I do too.  Three protein meals and two veggie and nut meals.

Frisco, I love raw broccoli but rarely eat it or hardly any veggies at all.  And my bowels are paying for it, let me tell you.  Maybe I just need to sacrifice a little protein and have them.  I miss them so.
