Elina, what Jim said about finding the luncheon info. We meet in Concord once a month. It's a great group of people. Some bring kids or partners with them. Everyone is welcome and the restaurant is very gracious towards us. I hope you'll come one of these months!

One of my greatest moments was when I saw my son the first time after I lost the majority of the weight. He does not give compliments easily, but when he saw me he said, "It is just so strange. It is not like you have lost weight, but like you have just shrunk as a person. You are just overall a different size person now." That was my best compliment ever, because it was so honest, because it was him just being surprised that I had shrunk overall.

It had been a year since I'd seen my entire family and I flew to see them for Thanksgiving. My brother freaked out when he saw me and told me I looked "like a ******g Ethiopian". You'd have to know him, but for my brother that is a compliment and he couldn't get over how, for the first time in our lives, I was smaller than him (I am 1 year older than he).

Your sister will be floored I'm sure! Get used to getting lots of squeezes from her!

I wish I could see her face when she sees you for the first time. Even I get goose bumps when I see the changes in you, and I see you almost every month. You really have changed so much! You have lost two of me. Have fun with your sister, family is everything.
