So what's everyone doing over Christmas? I'm just having family over on xmas day. I love to bake and am making an Oreo cheesecake and my famous baked mac&cheese. I'll eat some fo sho, but I will send all leftovers home with the family!

Blessed Solstice today, Merry Christmas later this week and Happy Holidays in general.

I was invited to a Solstice bonfire tonight and a Seafood Dinner on Saturday, other than that no plans.

can't wait for spring, basically!

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

Our family turns everything into a series of parties. OUr oldest son lives eight hours away & is a minister, so he is never available 'til the day after Christmas. On Christmas Eve my sister and nieces (18 & 20) will come up (her husband works week-ends) & we'll go to a matinee, out to dinner @ a Japanese restaurant, then to our cousin's for some cards. We did this once after our parents died & we were middle-aged orphans, now it is a tradition.

On Christmas day we'll go to a different cousin's house in the afternoon. They'll have some good food choices (and some bad ones). We'll play some games and have fun.

On Sunday, we'll have a Christmas celebration at our house with our three grown children & their families and my husband's sister and her family. There will be 22. For the first time ever, I'm taking the easy way: we're having take-out smoked turkey and ribs. I'm making whole wheat homemade rolls because I like to bake bread and the kneading has helped tone my arms.

But that's not the end of it, New Year's Eve we're getting together at Lake Texoma with some more of our family. Black-eyed peas on New Years Day and football is a tradition that's been around in my family for a long time. If we do it at the lake, then our son & his family will be three hours closer to Houston when he leaves the next day.

So, I'll have plenty of opportunities to eat off plan, but plenty of opportunities to eat healthy, too. In the end, it will all be my choice, like always.

Happy Holidays.

Merry Christmas to you, Mandy!  Have a bite of the mac n cheese for me.  Something I haven't had since surgery, but oh how I love it.   Hmmmm maybe I should put it on my menu.......

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.
