relying on out of sight, out of tummy

I keep everything and anything in my pantry...candy (lots of varieties), cookies, chips, crackers,,,you name it and it's in my pantry.  And did I mention my pantry is 10 feet long and 5 feet wide???  It's like a small convenience store!!  My family eats all this crap and guess what, I do to.  But nothing makes me go into a binge.  I can eat 2 MnM's and walk away and not think about them for days even though they are the first thing I see when I walk in there.  So yes, I keep loads of crap, but I buy my family's favorites so at least they will eat it up and it won't go stale.

OMG,  Only you could get away with this Brandi...  you are soooooooo funny!!

Very cool Laura, no way could I have any of that in the house, I would make myself very very sick, in a very short time...

Laura, that is impressive.  I remember the first M&Ms I tasted as a post-op, they were way too sweet and had sort of a wet carboard-y smell/taste to them.

now, I could eat 2 and walk away but I could NOT stop thinking about them.

I bow down to you!

I wish I could get my sweet cravings under control. MWG told me low vit D causes sweet cravings.

I just had  mine done again. I started out with 30, went on Vita Lady's 50,000 once per week, and it went up to 80. Just had it done again and it's down to 60. I don't know why. I am going to increase it though.

I can't be around sweets. I just can't. My best friend ( who is diabetic and sleeved btw) loves to bake cookies and brownies.  It's gotten to where I can't go to her house anymore. If I have one, I will have  an entire baking sheet/pan full. The sleeve does not seem to control portions of cookies or candy.

It's almost like I can't leave the house and go anywhere if I know sweets will be served. I need to find some willpower somewhere.

If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them. I watched a tv show where he said to picture them covered in worms. That did not work for me!

that sounds pretty bad - I wish I had an answer for you!  do you eat good carbs? maybe your body would be happy having some bean or fruit or something? I seem to remember you are doing very low carb, is that right?

I used to be a sweetaholic but now I prefer salt...go figure.  I never think abut sweets anymore, even if there is a cake on the counter and I have no problem throwing a whole cake right in the trash!
