I think that exercise and weightlifting are always good!  I could not intuit the calorie mixup just on my own very well, I do not think but hey!  We are all experiments of one!  Do that thing and then let us know what you find!

I am 5"5 and weigh 136.5 (today) and consume between 1200-2500 calories a day. I know that is a crazy range, but it is what it is I guess. I am sure you know I don't really exercise and I eat a lot of times a day (usually 6-8) but my weight has been steady (give or take 7 lbs) for over 15 months now...

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!

I don't think this is helpful to most of you but I always like pointing out when not doing it the usual way works.  at least for me!

I tried counting calories and tracking carbs and stuff in my first 6 months and gave it up as pointless. I always and to this day am mindful of protein - especially since I do best when I start the day - but in general I have no idea how many calories I take it and that is working for me.

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

5' 0.5" weigh 120 (today anyway). I go down a bit during triathlon season but it's the off-season now.

I eat about 2000-2100 calories a day during training and 1600-2000 during the off season. (I still workout in the off season but not as intensely)

Exercise is about 6 hours at the start of the season and 10-15 at the height. In the off-season it really varies but can be as little as 3 hours and never much over 6.

Btw, those online calculators never work for me. They used to tell me to eat way more calories than I needed and now they tell me to eat too little! I just ignore them and use reality as my guide. I figured out what my weight loss was and did some math to get my BMR based on my weight loss. My BMR today is higher than the online formulas say because they assume old people have slow metabolisms.
