Caltrate is calcium carbonate, which is not recommended for WLS people. We need calcium citrate, which is more easily absorbed by everyone and doesn't require an acid environment for absorption.
Yes you are correct!  I guess I wasn't clear on my 2 previous posts....I  was not sure of the brand name,  but I know it is calcium citrate.....DUH!!  It is CITRICAL!!    I'm not an idiot........but I play one on T.V.!   Thanks for catching that one.

Frisco - I take the Gummi Adult vitamins too. It's not unpleasant to take my vitamins.   My labs have always been right on the mark.  And I like the Lavash Flat bread too.  Some Walmarts carry it in their deli/specialized food section.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

More stuff i get at costco:
seafood like halibut and ahi tuna. you have to buy bigger amounts but i bring them home, divide them into single portions and freeze them. Do the same with their large shrimp. ditto their chicken breasts. when i was caring for my brother after his surgery i had done this ahead and it was a godsend and he thought i was this gourmet cook! haha ha

and you can buy a good sized bag of frozen blueberries and mix a few in with greek yogurt or blend into a protein drink and they are very good. better than any fresh blueberries available at this time of year. they also have these salmon burgers made from alaskan salmon which are 20 g protein and i think quite good. have quite a bit of garlic in them though. not everyone agrees with me on these but i think they are good. low carb and 200 calories in 4 oz. . but their fresh salmon is usually the farm raised crap that i won't eat anymore.

they also have these french whole green beans that are quite good - better than other green beans. but they don't keep long.

and if you use dry protein powder still, theirs is the best. at least the choc. i always add some extra unsweetened coco powder to it. use it to make hot protein coco, mix in with a sf pudding, and its my general favorite protein powder. the costco premier is the premixed kind and it tastes the best of any. again i think they only have choc. our costco does not carry greek yogurt but some might. also, i get my favorite cheese - dubliner irish cheddar. also get their brand calcium citrate, their cheapo brand of chewable kids vitamins and fish oil. and my husband uses a lot of eggs so i get those there too.  hope this helps.  diane

I am going out of town. I have no Costco here, but you reminded me to bring my costco card!

I get their almonds too. Big bag for a good price.

I used to buy their premeire protien bars but I have decided to stop buying them. Too much sugar.
I do get their premeire protein drinks though. 30 grams of protein. RTD are great when I am not in the mood to mix up something else.

I get gum there. I chew a lot of gum and it's way cheaper getting a bunch of it like that.m

I am definitely going to look for that liquid calcium! I get their adult gummies too but I am thinking of switching to something else.

I can't get most of the stuff other people mention cause I am not taking a cooler.

I go to Trader Joes only to buy their beef jerky. It has not the nitrates or excessive salt that other brands have.

I buy other things while I'm there but that's my reason for going in.

Does anyone know if they sell those naked nuggets at the Costcos in Northern California?
