Bikerchickk needs a new hair color HELP

Hiya all,
I have been thinking for a time about getting a new color. I went grey at 15, a lot of us half natives do for some reason. I have been every color known to Miss Clairol and modern science. For the last couple of years I have been burgandy/black cherry or somewhere in the general vicinity. This last time I went a lot lighter but still red. I am thinking of getting some blond or carmel highlights, or changing the color all together. I was thinking of going much lighter maybe. What are your thoughts on this? Give me some ideas?

I remember when I first joined the OH/ I remember your hair color was sought of a red head. I guess it was amber. I thought that fit you.

Hi Mikey,
Yeah I have been red a long time. I really like the red too. I guess the census is for me to stay red and add some blond or carmel touches. Thanks for your reply. Hugs,

well if you are going to change it, why not do something intense and interesting. not everyone can pull off red hair but i think you can.  also, seems like younger girls are doing this thing where their hair is highlighted both with red and blond mixed into the dark. gives this multi colored look that my friend and I call "feral hair" but its actually pretty cool. not long ago i saw a lady in her 50's with multi colored hair, come of the colors not being found in nature, and it looked great! usually i hate that fake orange and unnatural hair but it looked so cool - and a fairly tame style but spectacular color. I met someone the other day with basic ordinary blond hair but with some sort of highlights that looked like threads of gold. so why not do something totally different. come to think of it, i am ready for a new style. why not? D

Hi Diane,
I guess I am going to go get some blond or carmel highlights in my hair. Maybe some darker lowlights too. I just seem to really be attached to red for some reason lol Hugs,

Definitely a red head with some blond highlights.  You have the perfect skin tones to pull that off - along with the "Sassy" attitude

Revision from Sleeve to DS (with re-Sleeve) on 10/10/17. Slow and steady ...

Only advice I have is do not go whole head light blond. When I did that over the summer it tool 4 (!!) processes in 2 days and my hair is still recovering! The hairdresser told me that red coloring, as much as it fades, is the hardest to remove to go blond. And then I only liked the blond for a week and wanted to be a redhead again, lmao.. I like the idea of really chunky highlights and lowlights...

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!

I think so too. I will let you know and try to post a pic of the new me after the holiday. Thanks for the 'heads' up on the blond thing. I don't think I will be going back blond for a long time though. Hugs,
